Land that I Love

Family Hike in the
Bitteroot Mountains

I spent the first 14 years of my life in Montana. It is still home to me in a lot of ways. Hiking through the familiar terrain and reflecting on my personal history is refreshing and grounding. These spaces and places are all a part of me and somehow I am in constant pursuit to give my girls similar experiences to help to keep them focused when they are adults.

  1. That's exactly how I feel about my part of CA. I want the kids to love the ranch, but how can they if we never go there? I wanted to go this summer, but I think with baby coming, I won't be able to handle a 14 hour drive well, esp. not twice. I'll keep thinking, though. Next year I'm definitely going.
Yay you! Montana really is pretty.

Thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it!
