Some people have commented on how gloomy my posts about my baby boy have been. To quote Randy Jackson, I'm "just keepin' it real, dog." Although there are innumerable joys to a new baby, I don't like glossing over the fact that it is also very hard. As they say about raising children: the days are long and the years are short. So, for those of you who are struggling through a day: I'm with you! However, I wouldn't trade this job for anything.

  1. "...I wouldn't trade this job for anything." I, for one, have never doubted that! And "keeping it real" also brings out the humor in the life of moms, dads, kids, babies, etc. As to the frequency of posts, I miss them, too, but I completely understand the reason for seeing them drop off a bit during this early stage of life. Babies do (and should) consume our entire lives. This is the time when they are most in need of Mom and Dad. Keep up the good work, and thank you so much for your posts, regardless how long we have to wait for them!

Thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it!
